An Exceptional Architectural Weekend Retreat in the Heart of the Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche Natural Park

The missing piece of the puzzle. Situated on a uniquely shaped plot of 344 m², this property features a newly constructed 60 m² concrete architectural volume with a terraced patio, subterranean garage, above-ground storage room, a traditional corral, and an historic 1900s warehouse facing one of the village's main access roads, complete with an architect-signed preliminary restoration project. A cinematic setting just a five-minute walk from the village's renowned water culture heritage. Step out into a terraced garden that melts into the infinite horizon, retained by an ancient stone slope. The historic horse stable and adobe storage room create a striking yet harmonious contrast with the new build—a pure volume of clean lines and sharp angles that integrates flawlessly with the timeless landscape of historic irrigation channels and stone agricultural terraces. Unpretentious yet far from a conventional village house, this project proposes a respectful dialogue with the past. The approved architectural concept preserves the original stone walls while introducing a striking exposed concrete expansion featuring expansive two-story picture windows. Open-plan living spaces, dramatic double-height ceilings, a suspended fireplace, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living room with an integrated kitchen framing the sweeping views of the Sierra. A private viewpoint terrace overlooking the village, with potential for a swimming pool. An ideal masterpiece for an inspiring primary residence, an artist's sanctuary, or a refined architectural weekend retreat.
